This month, Frank Visciano, who was with the United States Department of Energy (DOE) until last week, will tell us about the the US clean energy programme ($80 Billion).
Frank: ‘Of the nearly $800 billion stimulus package signed into law by President Obama in 2009, nearly $80 billion was targeted for clean energy. For the last two months, I worked with the team within the DOE responsible for overseeing the implementation of this program. My particular focus was on electric vehicle infrastructure deployment strategy and advanced biofuels commercialization, but I will endeavor to give a broad picture of the state of clean energy policy in the US as it relates to ARRA.’
Frank is doing an MBA at Stanford university and was American Recovery & Reinvestment Act Fellow at the United States Department of Energy during the past months. Frank now is doing a project with Kamworks.
