The 1950′s and 60′s were a time of great creativity in Cambodian art and architecture.
The drawings, photographs and models in this exhibition aim to reconstruct a historical record of the original design invit us to a journey in time to (re)discover the «New Khmer archtecture» through the work of H.E.M Vann Molyvann.

Last year, the students in architectures from the University of Phnom Penh conceived plans for an “‘Arts Park,”. For this second competition, the country’s future architects will be invited to come up with a construction plans for 450 living spaces on the shores of the Tonlé Sap. A dream that we will all be able to share when the models of the “Imaginary Home” are exhibited.

The White City sidtaum in London hosted greyhound meetings until September 2004, after which is was demolished to make way for the BBC offices which now occupy the site. The Pogues song makes reference to the demolition.
