The French Cambodian Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the French Embassy, organizes a French Week from Friday, October 29th to Sunday, November 7th.

This week named “Sousday la France, the French week” is a first in Phnom Penh.

You have a Rendez-vous with major distributors of French products and restaurateurs. Numerous promotions and special events are waiting for you everywhere in Phnom Penh.

Friday, October 29th:
Francophone « Pic Nic » organized at Chambâk by the AUF. Departure at 5:30am from Independence Monument. (registration closed)
Evening : French music night at the Equinox Bar.

Saturday, October 30th :
Lunch : French buffet and barbecue at Hagar Restaurant & Catering (price : 4,95$).
12 am & 7 pm : French specialties night at Atmosphère Restaurant during which, all the earnings will be given to the Kantha Bopha Children Hospital.
8pm to 10pm : the Jazz Manouche band Balgass will be playing at Brasserie Durga.

Sunday, October 31st :
4 pm : The Innovative & World Citizen France: Boat tour organized by the EEI commission of the CCFC (price : 6$ entrance, possibility to have appetizers or dinner). Departure from Himawari Hotel. (registration information are available on “practical information”) This event aims to gather different actors for the Millennium Development Goals around themes linked to sustainable development, socially responsible investments, eco construction, eco tourism and organic agriculture; so as it can provide a suitable atmosphere to encourage experiences’ exchanges and new synergies.

Monday, November 1st :
9 am – 11 am : Pastry and bakery contest at K-West.

Tuesday, November 2nd:
10 am : Cooking class with pastry chef from «Elle&Vire» at the Raffles Le Royal.
At CCF, AED organizes a decoration contest, with the decoration softwares of GAUTIER and according to specifications, the participants will have to decorate two rooms (in an house, living room and bedroom), a jury will select the winning project and a prize-giving will take place on Saturday 6th in the afternoon.
Evening : Café Monivong is hosting a French dinner buffet with a dessert display by pastry chef from «Elle&Vire» organized at the Raffles, Le Royal.

Wednesday, November 3rd :
10 am : Cooking class with pastry chef from «Elle&Vire» at the Raffles Le Royal.
At CCF, AED organizes a decoration contest, with the decoration softwares of GAUTIER and according to specifications, the participants will have to decorate two rooms (in an house, living room and bedroom), a jury will select the winning project and a prize-giving will take place on Saturday 6th in the afternoon.

Evening : Soirée Limousine, what the region Limousin has best to offer at Brasserie Durga. The Jazz Manouche band Balgass will also be playing from 8pm to 10pm.

Thursday, November 4th :
10 am : Cooking class with pastry chef from «Elle&Vire» at the Raffles Le Royal.

4pm-8pm : Presence of Aaliyah Veasna Khao, model, actress, and singer at Fashion Studio. Presentation of French luxury goods.
6 pm : Conference about “Origin of modern Phnom Penh (1889 – 1897)” with guest speaker Jean-Michel Filippi, PhD at the Brasserie Durga.
6 :30 pm : Concert at the Chatomuk Theatre, band from studio 182 Phil & Ritchie, and Gérard Chambre from France who will sing Jacques Brel.
6-9 pm : Brand introduction and table dressing workshop with CHRISTOFLE followed by dinner featuring Languedoc Roussillon cuisine at the Van’s restaurant.
Evening : Café Monivong is hosting a French dinner buffet with a dessert display by pastry chef from «Elle&Vire» organized at the Raffles, Le Royal.

Friday, November 5th :
At CCF in Phnom Penh: Models of Cambodian environmental houses built with French and Khmer materials from Maisons d’hôte de charme Le Bout du Monde (Kep). They will also be serving “crêpes bretonnes” from the restaurant.
At CCF, AED organizes a decoration contest, with the decoration softwares of GAUTIER and according to specifications, the participants will have to decorate two rooms (in an house, living room and bedroom), a jury will select the winning project and a prize-giving will take place on Saturday 6th in the afternoon.
3-5 pm : Afternoon tea at Raffles Le Royal with display of French mini pastry and sandwiches.
7 pm : Gala dinner at the Topaz restaurant, cooked by 3-stars chef Jean- Christophe Lebascle from La Manufacture (Paris) and auction sale of an art work by David Richards for charity.
Evening: French cuisine from Languedoc Roussillon at the restaurant Le Van’s.
7-11pm : Restaurant Le Lotus Blanc is hosting a French food and art party, with French buffet and music band and an exhibition about « Les français vus par les cambodgiens » made by the kids of PSE (price : 15$ buffet, food and drinks unlimited).

Saturday, November 6th :
At CCF in Phnom Penh: Models of Cambodian environmental houses built with French and Khmer materials from Maisons d’hôte de charme Le Bout du Monde (Kep). They will also be serving “crêpes bretonnes” from the restaurant.
At CCF, AED organizes n the afternoon, in the restaurant of the CCF the award ceremony for the decoration contest.
