Launched in 2008, Cambodian American Chean Long has continued to post some of the most fascinating photographs under various themes, including arts and (pop) culture and life in Cambodia. For instance, this blog post contains some pictures of Independence Day two years ago. The professional photographer, who also does commercial photography work for businesses, is pretty close to Cambodian art scene, in particular with largest arts organization The Cambodian Living Arts. So there is a chance that you get in-depth photo stories about Khmer culture and arts.
The photoblogger also post YouTube video on his Google-powered blog; thus he’s also a vlogger (video blogger).
Here’s Chean Long’s statement about having his photoblog:
“Nowadays pictures/video will live it’s existence on a hard drive locked up. I believe they’re meant to be shared with others”.
The first photoblog to visit if you’re interested in Cambodia, its arts and culture, life and styles.

Local photographer Chea Phal lives in the Cambodian capital; he also travels to the countryside as part of his work. His much known photographs are mostly about Khmer architecture. It’s probably his main interest. But it’s interesting as Cambodian people like him witness the transformation of Phnom Penh.
The photoblogger describes his photoblog that:
“This personal online journal is nothing more than records of daily life of what I see through my camera’s lenses. I have greatly enjoyed my passion for photography after getting my Nikon D80 in September 2008″.
