Vuth Lyno, Director of Sa Sa Art Projects, will talk about Cambodian artist collective Stiev Selapak (or Art Rebels) and its works in using contemporary arts to discuss today’s Cambodia. The talk will also feature the collective’s initiative Sa Sa Art Projects, and its recent participatory project entitled The Sounding Room.
About Sa Sa Art Projects
Sa Sa Art Projects is a non-profit artist-operated space founded in 2010 by the Cambodian artist collective Stiev Selapak. Located in the historic apartment bloc The White Building on Sothearos Boulevard, Sa Sa Art Projects aims to foster a community of knowledge sharing and to create opportunities for emerging Cambodian artists to realize new ideas. It does this by serving as a venue to accommodate experimental art practices, residencies, talks, classes, and community participation.
