The Phnom Penh Post is seeking a full-time reporter/sub editor to join
our growing national news team. Cambodia provides a dynamic news
environment and a chance to report on issues that matter both here and
globally, including the Khmer Rouge tribunal, human rights issues,
environmental stories, etc.
Candidates should have daily newsroom experience and be equally
comfortable in aggressively seeking out and pitching their own
stories, as well as working in an editing capacity alongside their
Khmer-language counterparts. Country knowledge is a plus. Native
English speaker preferred.
The Phnom Penh Post is an award-winning, five-day-a-week
English-language newspaper, which was founded in 1992. It is printed
in full-color tabloid format, and is also available in Khmer.
Successful applicants will receive a one-year renewable contract with
a salary that is negotiable depending on experience.
