Aikido is a Japanese martial art and due to its gentle nature it is popular for people of all ages. The word Aikido means ‘the way of harmony with ki’. It can be studied to improve your fitness, for spiritual advancement and for self defence.
Aikido is impressive to watch as its proponents use its flowing, circular and dance-like motions to control and overcome their opponents. Come along and watch the dynamic martial art of Aikido demonstrated by members.

The Ministry of Tourism launched its travel website in a campaign to provide more information for travelers to Cambodia.
Tourism Guide of Cambodia, available on the Internet at http://cambodia-tourism.org/, offers “practical details on transportation, health issues and accommodation, according to the ministry officials.
The site also integrates a searchable database feature, which includes more than 2,211 restaurants, 872 hotels and 981 leisure activities.
One page is dedicated to Sustainable Tourism in Cambodia with aims to “aims to reduce negative impacts in a holistic way, in urban, rural, and wilderness areas. Issues confronted include economic viability, socio-cultural sensitivity, and environmental sustainability, at destinations of natural and cultural significance, in both mass tourism and the various niche tourism segments”.

Pakistan has been devastated by the worst flood in its living memory, displacing over 20 million people, and killing over 1400. The flood has destroyed communication lines, roads, and bridges. Survivors are threatened by hunger and water born diseases. The Embassy of Pakistan is therefore making an appeal to the Cambodian people for donation in response to this catastrophe.
