In Cambodia, South East Asia Makerthon focuses on making products/services for agriculture or rural communities. Makerthons are 36 hour innovation sprints, which will see about 100-150 people or more working in teams to prototype solutions for specific problems. Participants create product prototypes during the competition.
Makerthon winners will join the Grand Finale held in Singapore at the SEAMNET Summit in October. The winning teams will have an opportunity to pitch to investors and join the Apprenticeship programme by SEAMNET partners.
