Arts Opening: "My City" by Chheang Rena

“My City” is a collection of paintings by Cambodian Young artist, Chheang Rena, showcasing the brokenness of the city due to poverty and corruption.

Rena’s painting illustrate the Khmer Rouge that scarred the Cambodian people beyond its limits, leaving them in shambles and ruin. This backwards society has been struggling for the past 40 years to rebuild itself.

However, there is still hope and restoration. To Rena, God has made a promise a long time ago that he will raise the poor from the dust and lift the needy from the ash heap. He will seat them with the princes and will have them inherit a throne of honor.

Join us to see “My City” with the good complementary of FREE wine & drink during the first hour.
