Burger King to open in store in Phnom Penh?

Burger King Confirms Move to Cambodia: The Cambodia Daily
Updated: 28 January 2013

The Daily’s Simon Lewis takes a closer look at advertisement at Phnom Penh International Airport that seems to suggest that U.S. fast food chain Burger King is sooner or later establishing its branch in the Cambodian capital. But until now, there is no official confirmation from Singapore-based Burger King officials just yet.

Burger King, which has outlets in 73 countries globally, joins other U.S. brands Dairy Queen—which is run in Cambodia by Thailand-based RMA Group—and KFC, which was brought into the country by local businessman Kith Meng.
