Save the Children is looking for a qualified and motivated candidate to fill in the position of a “Communications/Reporting Intern (Native English Speaker)” based in Phnom Penh with some visits to sub-offices.
To support reporting and Communications Team (including editing and proofreading written documents namely reports, newsletters, case studies, case stories and other promotional materials).
Edit and proofread written documents including reports, newsletters, case studies, case stories and other promotional materials;
Work with Communications Team to help develop information, education and communications (IEC) materials and behaviour change communication in support of Programmes;
Join with the Communications and Awards Teams to conduct interviews with beneficiaries and stakeholders to produce case studies and reports for donors;
Assist the Communications and Awards Teams to train programme staff on writing skills, particularly for reports, case studies, best practices and lessons-learned.
Native English speaker preferred;
Able to give creative input to the format of the written materials;
BA in journalism or communications would be an asset, but is not mandatory;
Knowledge management or related field with experience in information; and/or communication sciences;
Two years of experience in a related field;
Experience with a recognised national or international organisation would be an asset; but is not mandatory.

Impact and results orientation: proactive approach for smooth organization of internal processes; work independently with strong sense of initiative, discipline, and self-motivation
