Consultancy opportunity with KREDIT


More than 23 years of experiences, KREDIT still focuses on its vision and mission to help poor-unbanked families to access with financial services by utilizing the product of Vulnerable Service Unit (VSU). Moreover, the target families can gain with a FREE non-financial services as part of the product anticipation. By May 2014, with a total asset of more than USD102 million and more than 1,000 staff, KREDIT has been providing loans to more than 78,092 families, collecting savings from 15,862 depositors in the sixteen operation provinces within the 25 provinces and cities of Cambodia.

To assess the impacts on the lives of the clients and their families, KREDIT is seeking a highly qualified candidate to undertake 3 years project evaluation.


Design the practical protocol for the evaluation that includes appropriate methodology, sampling, instruments and procedure of data collection and analysis with consultation with KREDIT if needed.

Prepare data collection tools/instruments. The data collection tools/instruments must take all the indicators of the project into account.

Prepare plan for field work and the whole process that can be carried in consultation with related stakeholders.

Conduct data collection in identified project areas.

Enter, clean, and analyze the collected data with appropriate licensed software

Prepare primarily findings with informative recommendations and present in a meeting to KREDIT. The findings must present all the indicators of the project.

Finalize the reports after receiving and responding to all the feedback from CARE Cambodia.


At least 5years’ experience in designing and conducting assessment/study/research;

Ability to identify evaluation problems, determine appropriate approaches and propose solution and recommendations;

Strong analytical skill aspiration high quality deliverables;

Knowledge in Micro-finance Institution particularly Cambodia context;

Strong analysis and presentation skill;

Effective interpersonal skill;

Ability convey ideas, concepts, results effectively writing in English;

Sound judgment reliability;

Very good written and verbal communication skills and quality report writing skills in English;
