Meet the Swiss Folkpop-Group "Caroussel"

Tonight, Sunday, MARCH 31, from 6PM, we invite you all to the
PUPPETS BEYOND BORDERS: PHOTO EXHIBITION & FILM PREMIERE
RECEPTION / DRINKS & SNACKS / FREE ENTRANCE!

In 2011, puppeteers from Germany, France, Thailand, Myanmar, and Cambodia came together for a workshop in Chiang Mai.
They were commissioned by Goethe-Institute & Institute Francais to create a collaborative piece.
Swedish photographer ANDERS JIRAS followed this unique exchange project, made possible through the Elysee-Fund, with his camera.
Tonight’s exhibition opening is accompanied by the world premiere screening of the project docu PUPPETS BEYOND BORDERS (2013, 37 mins, English subs).
It was filmed by a Burmese-Cambodian team from Yangon Film School and Media Education and Training Academy, Phnom Penh.
Filmmakers and project facilitators will be in attendance.

Tomorrow, Monday, APRIL 1, 7PM, we invite you to the
FREE CONCERT OF THE SWISS FOLKPOP-GROUP “CAROUSSEL”
WITH A RECEPTION / DRINKS & SNACKS
ONLY 70 SEATS AVAILABLE – PLS. COME EARLY!

With poetically biting lyrics and an instrumentation such as accordion,
guitar, ukulele, melodica and kalimba, the gentle music of Carrousel
reminds you of the sun in the South, the wind that passes over the mountain,
or of the “The Fabulous World of Amélie”.

A musical, magical spring offering from Western Switzerland
(www.groupecarroussel.com), presented by the Embassy of Switzerland.
