Residency, part 2: Curator

JavaArts residency program

Res|2 follows the successful and exciting Artist-in-Residence (Res|1)
with Anida Yoeu Ali. The JavaArts Residency program, based in
Cambodia, is a platform to cultivate creative processes and knowledge
exchange in visual arts. Part 2 focuses on Curators, with an emphasis
on innovative practice.

Res|2 is a three month residency leading to an exhibition at Java
Café & Gallery in September 2013. The residency is open to all
individuals from the field of visual arts and encourages Cambodians to
apply. The Resident Curator is placed in a shared work environment
where he/she will be engaged in daily operations, gain first-hand
experience, and be supported to develop their curatorial vision.

The application process starts with a simple letter of inquiry. The
applications will be reviewed by a selection committee who are
responsible for the final selection.

The selected applicant will be announced on June 3rd, 2013. Full
details about the residency and the process can be found here:
